Our journey to today

Salon owner, Michell Bartlein, started her beauty career in a salon and moved into being a solo artist. After time alone she began to value the camaraderie that comes along in a team environment. This spark ignited a blaze burning the path to Savoye as we know it today! Eleven years later, we proudly call ourselves an oasis for guests seeking high-end luxury on a down-to-earth level.

As a Salon Today top 200 winner for several years, as well as a multiple time winner of the team-based pay award, we truly place our salon culture as a priority. Everything we do is to lift up our team, our guests, the experience, and of course the space we all spend our time in.

Our goal is to build connections and foster a feeling of togetherness. To achieve this, we’ve structured our salon to focus on communication – whether through interactions with our guests or internally within the team.

From the moment you walk through the doors, we want you to feel like part of the family, and our family gets the best! Our entire team is skill trained, no matter their level, and thrives on a dynamic that fully removes competition. This team-based structure means we can shed the stress of commission and have the chance to bond with everyone.

Every experience starts with a conversation about your beauty goals and how that can be achieved. From there, we build a full circle experience that includes in-salon services and products, as well as upkeep plans for the time between visits. Every recommendation is intended to enhance your wellness experience–unnecessary add-ons are a thing of the past. The goal is to raise you up to feeling your best before our time together ends.

We also love to bring that positive energy out into the community by giving back to local causes, like hosting our annual bean bag tournament to benefit the Alliance for the Great Lakes, participating in BRAs on the Bay for Breast Cancer Awareness, or even getting involved with local schools by giving scholarships to teachers and students.
